Welcome to The Emmie Experience! I am a Chicago-based stylist who specializes in: Color: Blondes, Lived-In Balayage, Vivid Reds, Root Touch-ups, and Rich Brunettes Cuts: Bobs, Lobs, Long Layers, textured shags, and bangs Extensions: Bellami tape-in extensions to add length and/or density Styling: voluminous blowouts, beach waves, curls and flat-iron styles My goal is for my clients to leave my space feeling amazing and confident with their look, whether that is a complete change or just refreshing what they already have, I always want my clients to leave loving their hair. I went to cosmetology school at Paul Mitchell in Lombard after attending two years of college. I have always had a passion for hair and was always the go-to “hair friend”, I also was a competitive cheerleader where hair and makeup are a huge part of that world. I decided to use this passion and pursue a career in cosmetology in 2019 and I will never look back! There is no better feeling than giving someone exactly what they are looking for and helping someone feel fresh and confident when they look in the mirror. Prior to opening The Emmie Experience I worked as a stylist at Swerve Salon for almost six years, but am now excited to go out on my own and welcome all of my wonderful clients in my own space! In my free time I love cuddling up with my cat Chowder and enjoying a new book or TV series. I enjoy getting together with my friends and enjoying our time together whether that be a beach day, drinks and dinner, or a good ole fashion girls night in! I also spend my time out in the suburbs visiting my (amazingly supportive) family and enjoying time away from the city chaos and getting snuggles from our family dog Cinder. Lastly, a fun fact about me that I think everyone always needs to know is that I am obsessed with frogs!! I cannot wait to see all your beautiful faces in my chair!Business Hours

I charge a 50% cancellation fee for any no-shows or cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment
